Inspect Your Camper at the End of the Season!

We’re coming to an end of the 2019 camping season. Before you pack up the camper and get it winterized, you should have your camper inspected. With all the natural wear and tear that can occur to your camper throughout the season, it’s a good idea to have your camper essentials inspected before winterizing and storing.

• How are your camper slide outs? Are they making a funky noise? Any tears? Are you having trouble taking them out or putting them back in? It would be a good idea to do a quick inspection. Check for any tears, rips, and so on! You don’t want there to be any issues with your slide outs before storing them away for the winter!
• How are your awnings? Maybe try giving them a good clean and inspect these as well! If there is anything that seems to be off with them or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact our service department by calling/texting (518)-563-1983!
• Check your roof? Low hanging branches can do some damage to the roof of your camper while you’re on the road. Not only that, but have you checked for any tears or water damage? If water comes through your roof you know what that means…it’ll hit somewhere else. You could end up with soft spots in the floor, the walls, etc. Make sure to get this taken care of.
• Appliances can be another thing you’d want fixed or replaced. Be sure to inspect your air conditioner, microwave, refrigerator, outside kitchen, etc. Let us know if you need us to order you something new or have one of our certified technicians fix it for you!
